ICE RINK REVEAL (Pre-Season)
The look and feel for the 2021-22 NHL season was to push for a more medieval vibe. Plus punching up the fact it was the team's fifth season playing in the NHL, which is where the roman numeral V came to be used alot in the design process. When you look through the renderings, you can see that the Golden Hall is composed of many elements based on the Primary and Secondary logo, along with hockey elements to help tie in what the focus of the room is all about.
If you look closely at the room, you can also see that most of the architectural elements on each side only come in fives, to help tie in the focus of it being the team's fifth season more.
A big thanks to Brady Hackmeister who designed the head window and allowed me to take lead on the art direction of the entire environment which in turn led to producing key elements for the season V look for the team's branding.
